Operations

Manage day-to-day logistics and transportation operations from pickup to final delivery.

Coordinate with transporters, drivers, vendors, branches, hubs, and customers for smooth shipment movement.

Plan and coordinate vehicle placement as per shipment requirements and delivery schedules.

Monitor shipment movement and ensure on-time pickup and delivery as per defined SLAs.

Track shipments and proactively resolve delays, exceptions, and operational issues.

Coordinate with branches and operations teams for loading, unloading, dispatch, and delivery activities.

Prepare and maintain logistics-related documents, records, manifests, PODs, invoices, and shipment reports.

Follow up for POD submission, shipment closure, and documentation within defined timelines.

Coordinate with customers regarding shipment status, delivery schedules, and service-related queries.

Monitor transporter performance, vehicle availability, freight costs, and service levels.

Support freight negotiation and ensure transportation is arranged within approved cost parameters.

Identify operational gaps and recommend improvements to enhance productivity and reduce logistics costs.

Maintain accurate MIS and prepare daily/weekly/monthly logistics reports.
